The client wanted to incorporate the cover of an old brochure into the creation of a new one. I scanned the original cover in Photoshop, touched it up, then imported it into Quark, which I used to layout the various elements of the brochure. I also recreated the client's corporate logo in Illustrator to give it a transparent background so I could place it seamlessly into the brochure in different places.
